- $55 to $65 per service — Flat Rate, depending on competency and experience. Each in-home cooking service is usually completed in 2.5 to 3 hours.
- Earn an additional performance-based bonus only once you have successfully completed 25 services. The employee’s performance must meet the criteria of the client and employer’s expectations.
- Additionally, a quarterly bonus will be rewarded based on performance. The employee’s performance must meet the criteria of the client and employer’s expectations.
Work Remotely:
- No. Chefs For Seniors North Texas service is required to be performed in the kitchen of the client. You are required to drive to a client’s home to work.

Job expectations:
Daily job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Keeping yourself organized, clean, and presentable
- Complete basic training requirements
- Grocery shopping for the client
- Cooking in the home of the designated and assigned clients
- Talking with the client and selecting next week’s menu
- Be vigilant on the job — careful and mindful of each client’s dietary needs.
- Being consistent and having integrity — keeping your word.
- Open and transparent communication with your manager, team, and clients
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements for work:
- You are legally authorized to work in the US (required).
- Minimum one year of Culinary experience working in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
- Have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance (required).
- Applicants applying for the part-time position must have a working vehicle.
- A working smartphone with a data plan (required).
- Access to a B/W printer.
- Can lift 25+ pounds
- Pass a criminal background check (required).
- You have an active license with food handlers certification.
- Interest in working with diverse demographics. Our client population ranges from busy senior executives to retired couples and professionals to engaged and active seniors.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Culinary education is a plus.
